New Service Time = Sunday @ 5pm

Please spread the word that the new OCC service time is Sunday @ 5pm.

Last week was a great reminder that God is so good.  We have been praying for a space that fits OCC.  God has provided what we need.  I can't wait to see how this next chapter unfolds for the church.

Don't forget that we are doing the Lifecourse!!! It begins Tuesday September 27th.  The LifeCourse is a great place to bring friends.  There is a great food and discussion about what matters in life. Is their more to life than just doing the best we can for the 70 or 80 years we spend on earth? The LifeCourse is fun and does not feel like "church".

Theology on Tap - Season Finale!!

What's better than the season finale of the Bachelorette?  The last TOP!!!

We are winding down our summer of Theology on Tap.  This week we will be the "last official" TOP until the spring, but guys will still hangout on Thursday nights forever!!!

Worship and Work @ OCC

Bring your ladders, sanders, cleaning gear and yourselves out to the beach to help give the OCC building a facelift.   We are so excited that God has provided a space for us.  We know that this is just a building and we don't want to make it a bigger deal than it is.  But we want to make our space a reflection of our values and a refuge for people to encounter God. 

So.......for the next few weeks we will be doing some minor improvements on the building.


Here's what our next 3 Sundays will look like: There will be a team of volunteers working all day on those Sundays.
At 6pm we will stop working and have a very casual and informal time of prayer and worship. If you can stay after to continue working, that would be awesome. Also, if you have time during the week to help out, we will be there! Contact Derek to let him know.   (derek@occjax.com).

Yes!!! It's a good week.  We are headed to Fionn Macools tonight for Theology on Tap.  We only have a few more weeks left, so come out and hang tonight at 7pm.

OCC has a building!!!

Yes, it's true! We are moving out of Derek and Beth's house into a space here in Jax Beach. Derek signed the lease Wednesday afternoon.

We are extremely excited to get into a space and completely grateful to Jesus for providing it.

We want to give the place some TLC for the next few weeks.  We will be cleaning, scraping, replacing, and painting and we need your help.

Here's what our next 3 Sundays will look like: There will be a team of volunteers working all day on those Sundays.
