Sunday Night was our first community group at the beach. It was an exciting night for us. Like we said, this is the way we are starting as Ocean City Church, but if you go to a different church, don't go at all, or don't even like church people, you can still be part of this community group. We just want to be a group of people sharing life together in pursuit of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
It's thrilling to see something begin that has been on our hearts for so long. And it's great to see Him bring people together not yet knowing how we will affect one another. What may seem to be just a group of both familiar and unfamiliar faces, may turn in to close and lasting friendships. That is our hope. We never want to be a group of people that remain polite and brief and never get beyond that.
We're looking forward to our next meeting July 11th. It's never too late to join us as we begin Timothy Keller's The Gospel in Life study.
