First off, I just want to say thanks to Spencer for the encouraging word that he shared last Sunday. As we grow as a community of faith and as we begin to take the gospel to our neighborhoods and workplaces out at the Beaches, it is so important to remember that Jesus possesses all authority, in heaven and on the earth (Matthew 28:18). With Jesus, there isn't any way for us to fail because He is in control and He is the victor. If you were there Sunday I pray that you were encouraged by Spencer's message of hope for us.This week, as we are trucking along through the "Gospel In Life" series, we'll be looking at the issue of work and the biblical and gospel-driven call we have as workers. If you get the opportunity, please go over the home study for Session 6 and come ready with your insights about what we are supposed to look like as redeemed cultivators.
