OCC, I hope that your weekend is treating you well.Sunday we will continue our "mini-series" on Gospel Community. This topic is super exciting to me. I get this sense that we can be this type of community at the Beach.
+But how does this happen?
+How does Acts 2:42-47 happen?
+What/who is our perfect example of Gospel Community?
+What counters this idea of community in our own culture?
+Who is accepted in this Gospel Community?
+Where does discipleship come into play in all of this?
+Who or what am I held accountable to/for?
These are some of the questions I have and discussions we've been having the last several Sunday nights. It's exciting and Derek and Jake have been doing a great job leading us through this series.
The Nuts and Bolts:
We are meeting at Derek and Beth's. The Harmon's live at 402 7th Avenue North in Jax Beach (it's the 2-story on the left coming from 3rd Street). Parking along their house should be fine. If you have children go to OC Kids for more info.
We're meeting from 5-7pm.
