What does it mean to be a “city on a hill” (Matthew 5:14)?
This week we address and search for the gospel-centered response to that very important question as we study Session 5 in the "Gospel In Life" series. Here's a short description:
Session 5: Witness – An Alternate City
In Session 5 we see that our community is to be a “city on a hill” (Matt. 5:14). The world must see in our community what life can be in all its beauty under the kingship of Jesus Christ. We also see that it is important to have gospel-speaking, neighborhood-loving, community-transformed congregations everywhere. Only the gospel enables us to build an alternate city together.
Join us Sunday night, August 8, at the Vayhinger homestead (2040 Tara Court, Neptune Beach) from 5-7. Bring friends and your favorite appetizer or dessert. Last week was such a great success we thought we'd do it again! Oh, and remember to park along the curb leading up to the house.
