Have you ever wondered why the gift of tongues gets such a bad wrap? Have you ever thought that the gift of prophecy is just some scam where people are trying to get your trust or money?Join us this week as we enter the second week of Prayer Ministry Training. This week Derek will specifically speak into the gift of tongues and prophecy. Some questions that will be addressed include:
+ How does the Spirit-filled church engage in tongues and prophecy healthily?
+ What is the role of tongues or prophecy in the church?
+ Are you still a Christian if you don't speak in tongues?
+ Are there still prophets like Moses today?
Don't forget, we will also begin practicing what we believe about the Holy Spirit and the spiritual gifts as we pray for one another. Derek will guide us through the model of prayer ministry that we will use to do ministry. So, if you haven't been to OCC in a while, still feel welcome to join us and participate.
