OCC, I hope that your Thanksgiving holiday went well. It's so exciting to meet together with family and friends and hang out and eat and eat and eat. We are continuing our series on Mission and what that looks like in our personal lives and our collective life as Ocean City Church as we pursue the de-churched and un-churched at the Beaches. As we're going through this topic we are putting ourselves out there on December 16th. We're having a Christmas party at the Atlantic. We're calling it "Shake a Leg Christmas Party" because there's going to be some serious dancing, folks! As a church, we love and believe that Jesus came to rescue us from Satan, sin, death and Hell and that we have cause to celebrate His victory! So we're having a dance party and we're asking you to ask your friends to come who aren't Christians, those who don't have cause to celebrate (yet). We're also helping support a charity called LESPWA. If you don't know about them, find out more here.
Let us know if you have any questions about the Christmas party. We want to push this event hard because we believe in God's saving power. Please pray for specific people that you would love to see attend on the 16th. Ultimately, it's all up to the Holy Spirit and his work on the lives of people, but we are the ones who will intercede on their behalf.
